- BS or MS in engineering-related field
- 5+ years of NDE methods and acceptance criteria experience
- Experience delivering technical reports to engineering stakeholders
- Applied knowledge of manufacturing or production engineering fundamentals
- Technical proficiency in at least one of: Digital RT, CR, ECA, or PAUT
- Understanding of welding flaw acceptance criteria
Nice to have
- MS or PhD in engineering focused on NDE methods
- Statistical analysis experience using R or Python including linear/multi-linear regression and Bayesian methods
- Contributions to automated NDE system design or qualification
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge and MES system familiarity
- Aerospace industry codes and standards experience
- CAD modeling software proficiency
- Level 2 or 3 NDE certification in Digital RT, CR, ECA, or PAUT
- Current ASNT Level 3 certification in any NDE method
- Inspection experience with additively manufactured materials, friction stir welds, or other advanced welds
- Third-party NDE service provider and equipment vendor audit experience
- Advanced NDE data analysis skills in PAUT, ECA, CT, DR, or FMC/TFM
