What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years in Security Engineering, Data Security, or SaaS Security
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Cyber Security
- Software engineering mindset with production-grade tool building experience
- Experience designing and implementing data protection platforms (SIEM, UBA, DSPM, SSPM, DLP)
- Knowledge of data classification, governance, access controls, encryption, and key management
- Hands-on experience securing SaaS platforms, cloud environments, endpoints, and collaboration systems
- Experience using AI to improve data protection and security workflows
Nice to have
- Experience securing Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Understanding of AI/LLM data protection risks and AI governance
- Enterprise-wide data security program experience
- Background building internal security products and developer-focused tooling
- CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certification
