What they ask for

Required

  • Deep hands-on experience building against and migrating payment processors
  • Direct experience migrating payments to or from Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Square, or Adyen
  • Understanding of multi-entity payment structures, reconciliation, and payment token migration
  • Operational knowledge of refunds, chargebacks, deposit reconciliation, and cash flow implications
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience including meaningful time in a forward-deployed or solutions engineering role
  • Ability to own technical relationships end-to-end with customers and partners, including difficult conversations
  • Strong communication skills explaining migration risk and tradeoffs to technical and business audiences
  • Willingness to travel to customer and partner sites

Nice to have

  • Experience building payment integrations from the platform or payment service provider side
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance and tokenization standards including network tokens
  • Prior work on payments for multi-sided marketplaces or embedded finance products
