What this role is

Udacity (now part of Accenture) is building a pool of contract-based data mentors to support learners in their online programs. You'll conduct one-on-one sessions, lead technical deep-dives, and host group Q&A for students across data science and analytics topics, working flexibly around your current role.

What they ask for

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in data or related field
  • Proficiency in Python and/or SQL
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, statistics, and data modeling
  • Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Understanding of databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture
  • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize workflows
  • Experience with data quality, validation, and governance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Passion for mentoring and helping others learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of tech industry and emerging AI trends
  • Flexibility to work part-time as external contractor

Nice to have

  • Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Exposure to real-world data projects
