What they ask for

Required

BS degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering or related discipline
5+ years hardware building and testing in manufacturing
Experience authoring test procedures for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assemblies
Experience partnering with design and manufacturing teams on test execution and failure investigation
Experience designing and managing large-scope test systems and process improvements
Expert knowledge of safety standards and test hazards
Hands-on experience in at least two of: electromechanical or pneumatic assembly, electrical or pneumatic functional checkouts, integrated testing, leak checking, sensor checkouts, high-voltage systems, high-pressure pneumatic systems, or instrumentation and sensor setup

Nice to have

Self-starter with track record defining and implementing testing processes across diverse teams in production environments
Working knowledge of rocket subsystems including structures, mechanisms, high-pressure gas systems, and avionics
Experience planning and conducting hazardous aerospace operations
Knowledge of industry test standards such as SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-1540D, MIL-STD-810G
Experience with test automation, data acquisition and control systems, oscilloscopes, multimeters, pressure regulators, flow meters
