What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years in site reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering with senior-level production ownership
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, TypeScript or similar for automation and tooling
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
- Proven track record leading incident response and building SLO-driven reliability practices
- Working fluency with observability tooling
- Practical experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST/DAST/SCA tooling)
- Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals
- Judgment and communication skills to raise security or reliability findings collaboratively
Nice to have
- Experience with a major cloud platform like AWS
- Datadog experience
- Policy-as-code frameworks (Kyverno, OPA/Rego, Conftest) enforced at admission time
- Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA)
- Chaos engineering or game-day experience
- Experience supporting B2C/mobile backend environments with high traffic and reliability needs
