What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of industry experience in propulsion, space vehicles, or high-precision welding
  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) with proven delivery of products you designed and built
  • Demonstrated ability to personally manage advanced manufacturing products
  • Onsite 5 days per week
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status

Nice to have

  • Manufacturing Engineering, Weld Engineering, or Integration Engineering background
  • Experience with robotic, automated, or orbital tube welding equipment
  • Direct experience manufacturing, testing, or designing precision welded assemblies, electric propulsion, or chemical space propulsion systems
  • Knowledge in machining, welding, or fixture and tool & die design
  • Manufacturing Engineering Software (MES) or ERP experience
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with AWS D17.1, MIL-STDs, and aerospace component specifications
  • Knowledge of pressurized systems operation and construction
  • Understanding of reliability and mission assurance best practices
