Required

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 11+ years of relevant work experience
  • Leadership experience managing multiple engineering teams
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one general-purpose programming language
  • Experience designing and deploying modern, scalable services and web applications
  • Collaboration skills across product, DevOps, and Agile teams
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Ability to manage technical debt and drive operational excellence
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Compliance and security awareness for regulatory environments

Nice to have

  • 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 3+ years with a PhD
  • Advanced degree such as Masters or MBA
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning
  • Track record delivering highly available enterprise-level distributed applications
  • Experience with integrated solutions combining internal and third-party offerings
  • Proficiency in SLA and KPI definition and monitoring
  • Payment industry background
  • API design and integration expertise
