What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Field Engineer, Satellite Technician, Network Engineer, or similar technical role
- Experience supporting communications infrastructure or RF systems
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally
- Valid passport
- Ability to work at remote technical sites in varying environmental conditions
Nice to have
- Satellite communications certifications (VSAT, SatCom, or similar)
- Experience working with satellite communication systems and gateway infrastructure
- Knowledge of RF technologies and antenna systems
- Proficiency with RF test and measurement equipment including spectrum analyzers and signal generators
- Experience with system integration, commissioning, and testing
- Familiarity with networking concepts and telecommunications infrastructure
- Experience supporting geographically distributed or remote operational sites
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in dynamic environments
