What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of field engineering or satellite technician experience
- Experience supporting communications infrastructure or RF systems
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Valid passport
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
Nice to have
- Satellite communications certifications (VSAT, SatCom, or similar)
- Experience with satellite communication systems and gateway infrastructure
- Proficiency with RF test and measurement equipment including spectrum analyzers and signal generators
- Experience with system integration, commissioning, and testing
- Knowledge of networking concepts and IP-based communications
- Experience supporting geographically distributed or remote operational sites
- Strong English communication skills
