What they ask for

  • 3-5+ years in network operations, satellite communications, NOC, or technical support
  • Hands-on technical experience in operational environments
  • Foundational understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, BGP, VLANs, NAT, DNS) or RF concepts
  • Scripting experience with Python or Bash
  • Bias for action and ability to solve high-pressure operational issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 0-1+ years of formal people management or demonstrated technical leadership experience

Nice to have

  • Prior Tier 2/3 Satcom or Telecom Network Operations experience
  • Hands-on familiarity with RF terminals, antennas, satellite payload architectures, VSAT hub systems
  • Configuration and troubleshooting experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet enterprise hardware
  • Linux system administration, network virtualization (KVM), or containerized environments experience
