Required
- Bachelor's degree in materials science, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of turbomachinery materials experience
- Material selection and qualification experience
- Damage tolerance and risk assessment knowledge
- Failure analysis capabilities
- Experience with either additive manufacturing or traditional material forming processes
Nice to have
- Deep turbomachinery reuse experience in aerospace or rocket engines
- Expertise in nickel, ferrous, aluminum, or titanium alloys
- Laser Powder Bed Fusion metallic additive manufacturing expertise
- Wrought, forging, or casting materials expertise
