Required
- 12+ years software development experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Hands-on coding in at least two of: IBM Assembler, COBOL, PL/I, C, C++, Java, .NET
- Experience with mainframe (z/OS) and distributed environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)
- Demonstrated implementation of cybersecurity principles including cryptography, secure coding, and access controls
- Experience with industry-standard mainframe security products (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret, TLS)
- Strong object-oriented programming and interlanguage communications knowledge
- Understanding of microservices, APIs, databases, and Client-Server communication
Nice to have
- Deep-dive debugging expertise and system dump analysis
- Penetration testing experience
- Thorough understanding of z/OS subsystems (Language Environment, CICS, IMS, WebSphere Liberty, DB2)
- Enterprise middleware and network protocol experience (ECI, TCP/IP, IBM MQ)
