What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor of Science in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of hands-on hardware development, manufacturing, fabrication, or testing experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing mechanical tooling or fixtures from concept through implementation
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD software (Siemens NX or SolidWorks)
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, or procedures for complex hardware
- Ability to coordinate across multiple manufacturing workcenters and manage competing priorities
- Proven ability to take ownership of ambiguous engineering problems and work independently
Nice to have
- 3+ years of relevant hands-on hardware development or manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience with combustion devices, rocket propulsion, or aerospace hardware
- Experience developing prototype or early-stage hardware with iterative design and fabrication
- Experience designing manufacturing tooling or fixtures for complex mechanical assemblies
- Experience working in rapid development environments with evolving requirements and priorities
