Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of professional software development
Experience designing, implementing, and operating production software systems
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems across software and infrastructure
Strong production experience developing in Rust
Experience building applications or controllers on Kubernetes
Experience developing software on Linux
Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container technologies
Experience debugging complex distributed applications
Automated unit and integration testing experience
Knowledge of distributed systems concepts including concurrency, asynchronous programming, event-driven architectures, and fault tolerance

Nice to have

Familiarity with Java or C++
Familiarity with Agile development concepts

Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, AWX, or GitOps workflows
