  • 5+ years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor
  • Financial industry experience building trading systems
  • Strong Java fundamentals including JVM, multithreading, collections, and I/O
  • System architecture and design knowledge
  • API development, Docker, and Kubernetes experience
  • Clean code, unit testing, code review, and refactoring expertise
  • Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, and Law of Demeter principles
  • Understanding of low-latency development challenges and solutions
  • Distributed version control (Git) and build automation (Gradle/Maven)
  • Linux/Unix operating systems experience
  • RDBMS experience (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Agile methodology familiarity
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering qualification
