What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, supply chain, business, or related field
- 15+ years progressive operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or quality experience
- 10+ years leading leaders
- Leadership of complex multi-site operations in aerospace & defense or similarly regulated manufacturing
- Direct accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and working capital across multiple product lines
- Experience scaling production and launching new products
- Knowledge of defense acquisition, quality standards (AS9100, ISO), export controls (ITAR, EAR), and regulatory requirements
- Ability to travel 25–40% domestically and internationally
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- U.S. person status for ITAR/EAR compliance
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MBA, M.S. in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain)
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
- Experience with ERP transformation and digital manufacturing technologies
- Experience supporting U.S. DoD and international defense customers under FFP, cost-type, IDIQ, and multi-year contracts
- Experience with repair, overhaul, field sustainment, and lifecycle support operations
- Strong financial acumen in budgets, capital allocation, and working capital management
