What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years building and operating complex software and compute infrastructure
- Hands-on experience across hardware, operating systems, networking, and automation
- Deployed an agentic harness (OpenClaw, Hermes, SybilClaw, or comparable) in a real work environment
- Strong Linux and macOS systems experience including debugging and networking
- Experience operating VMs or containers in production
- Strong networking fundamentals (routing, VLANs, DNS, firewalls)
- Ability to build software, scripts, CLIs, and integrations
- Meaningful open-source contribution or maintenance experience
- In-office at least three days per week
Nice to have
- ITAR-regulated or air-gapped environment experience
- Local LLM inference deployment (Ollama, MLX, vLLM, llama.cpp)
- Model routing, context management, or multi-agent systems experience
- Internal developer infrastructure experience
- Experience deploying into customer or field environments
- Public portfolio of work (GitHub, Gitea, etc.)
