6+ years in software engineering, solutions engineering, developer advocacy, or technical education
3+ years of hands-on technical instruction in live in-person and remote environments
Production software engineering experience with ability to discuss architecture, implementation, and debugging
Recent hands-on AI development within the past 3 years using LLM APIs, agents, tools, or MCP
Experience helping other instructors improve through feedback, observation, or train-the-trainer programs
Based in or willing to relocate to New York City
Willing to travel approximately 25% to San Francisco and eventually Europe

Nice to have

Experience designing or operating train-the-trainer or instructor certification programs
Portfolio of designed and taught sessions, labs, or courses
Experience teaching across time zones or to European audiences
Claude Code or comparable agentic coding tool as significant part of engineering workflow
Experience building with Claude through Bedrock, Vertex AI, Microsoft Foundry, or similar
Public speaking, conference workshop, or developer advocacy experience
Deep enthusiasm for AI and commitment to responsible deployment
