What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience focused on systems, infrastructure, or platform engineering for large-scale or high-throughput services
- Strong Linux administration and Unix command-line skills for production server fleets
- Hands-on experience running production workloads on AWS including compute, AMIs, autoscaling, and networking
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, containers, and orchestration
- Ability to read and write code in Python and/or PHP; Go, C/C++, or Perl a bonus
- Experience operating MTA software like Postfix or similar complex Linux applications at scale
- Working knowledge of DNS, networking, and email authentication protocols
- Experience with MySQL, Redis, or PostgreSQL
- Experience building observability with metrics, dashboards, alerting, and data tools
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Comfortable with AI-native working practices and hands-on use of AI tooling
- Able to work independently and communicate technical concepts clearly
Nice to have
- Experience with Postfix internals, queue management, or RPM packaging
- Deep networking knowledge (TCP/IP, TLS/OpenSSL) and delivery diagnostics
- Familiarity with receiver-side anti-abuse processes and deliverability resolution
- Proficiency in Python, Regex, and R with statistics foundation for data analysis
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
