What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience with 6-8 years
- Hands-on understanding of public cloud infrastructure and security risks in multi-account environments
- Understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience designing and securing AWS environments with meaningful Azure experience
- Ability to automate security processes and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language
- Foundational knowledge of IP networking, routing, VPNs, DNS, and network segmentation
- Experience in cloud security administration, serverless applications, infrastructure-as-code, command-line tooling, containers, cloud networking, or cloud-native security services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Current cloud provider certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer
- Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+
- Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAPP platforms, SIEM tools, or cloud risk management platforms
- Experience integrating security tooling with Slack, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines
