What they ask for

Required

  • 2–4 years in structured credit, asset-based lending, CLO/ABS operations, fund accounting, or specialty finance
  • Advanced Excel including borrowing base models and reconciliation workflows
  • Understanding of ABL mechanics: advance rates, borrowing base construction, eligibility criteria, and covenants
  • Ability to ingest, manipulate, and reconcile large loan tape datasets
  • Familiarity with at least two asset classes: equipment leasing, consumer lending, merchant cash advances, credit cards, SME loans, CRE, or specialty receivables
  • Strong attention to detail and clear written communication
  • Critical thinking and ability to distill complex findings for management

Nice to have

  • SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with AUP processes, field audits, or lender-side due diligence frameworks
  • Knowledge of UCC lien mechanics, custodian reconciliation, or backup servicer arrangements
  • Graduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
  • Familiarity with forward flow agreements and pricing
