- BSME plus 5 years industry experience, or MSME plus 3 years, or PhD plus 1 year
- Electromechanical system design experience
- Practical fabrication experience with portfolio
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD software (PTC Creo preferred)
- Ability to create mechanical drawings and familiarity with GD&T
- Experience supporting test design, implementation, and reporting
Nice to have
- Creo/Windchill experience
- Understanding of robotics principles, control systems, or mechatronics
- Familiarity with electric motors, motor controllers, gearboxes, encoders, and bearings
- Experience designing for tight size or weight constraints
- Basic programming skills for data analysis or engineering calculations
