Tutoring

Tutoring is the practice of providing one-on-one or small-group instruction to help a student understand academic material, improve skills, or prepare for exams, typically outside a regular classroom setting. Tutors range from professional educators and subject specialists to peer or volunteer tutors, and sessions can cover anything from basic literacy to advanced test prep like the SAT or GRE. Many people take it up both as paid work and as a rewarding way to mentor others and reinforce their own subject mastery.
