Scoubidou

Scoubidou (known in some English-speaking countries as boondoggle or gimp) is a craft activity, popular with children, involving braiding or knotting colorful plastic lacing cords into patterns to make keychains, bracelets, and other small trinkets. It became a widespread fad in France and other parts of Europe in the early 2000s. The appeal lies in learning various knotting and weaving techniques to create increasingly intricate, colorful designs.
