Real-Time Tactics
Real-time tactics (RTT) is a video game genre focused on unit-level combat tactics and positioning in continuous, non-turn-based time, typically without the base-building or resource-gathering emphasis of real-time strategy games. Examples include the Close Combat series and Company of Heroes. Players are drawn to the genre for its emphasis on realistic small-unit maneuvering, terrain use, and battlefield decision-making.
