Padiddling

Padiddling (playing "padiddle" or "perdiddle") is a car-ride game in which passengers watch for a vehicle driving at night with only one working headlight. Whoever spots it first shouts "padiddle" and, by informal rules that vary by region, may win a small prize, get to make a wish, or claim a kiss from another passenger. It's a classic pastime for long road trips, especially among teenagers and families.
