Newcomb Ball

Newcomb ball (or Newcomb) is a team game similar to volleyball in which players throw and catch a ball over a net rather than striking it, making it easier for beginners and children to learn court positioning and teamwork before progressing to volleyball. It is commonly used in school physical education classes as an introductory game. Points are scored when the receiving team fails to catch the ball or violates a rule, such as taking too many steps while holding it.
