Motorcycle Drag Racing

Motorcycle drag racing is a straight-line acceleration contest in which riders launch from a standing start and race over a fixed short distance, typically a quarter mile, to see who crosses the finish line first. Success depends on raw horsepower, launch technique, and reaction time, with purpose-built dragbikes capable of reaching very high speeds within seconds.
