Mak-Yek
Mak-yek (also spelled mak yek) is a traditional Thai board game similar to draughts/checkers, played on an 8x8 board where two players move pieces diagonally and capture opponents' pieces by jumping over them. It is a folk strategy game enjoyed casually in Thailand, valued for its simple rules but deep tactical play. It is part of a broader family of traditional Southeast Asian board games related to alquerque and checkers.
