Cross-Stitch

Cross-stitch is the needlework technique itself, in which pairs of diagonal stitches are crossed to form an X, used to build up images or patterns on woven fabric from a charted design. It is one of the oldest and most widespread forms of embroidery, favored by crafters for its simple, learnable technique and highly customizable results.
