Club Throw

Club throw is a track and field field event, most prominently contested in Paralympic athletics, in which athletes throw a bowling-pin-shaped wooden or composite club for maximum distance. It is primarily used by athletes with cerebral palsy or limited grip/arm function who cannot safely throw a discus or shot, and technique involves a spinning or standing throw depending on classification. It is governed by World Para Athletics and featured at the Paralympic Games.
