The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are a set of internationally recognized standards published by the W3C that define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, organized around the principles of being perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. Web developers, designers, and accessibility auditors use WCAG's success criteria and conformance levels (A, AA, AAA) as the benchmark for compliance with laws like the ADA.
