Unstructured Data

Data Science, Analytics and AI/ML

Unstructured data refers to information that does not fit neatly into predefined rows and columns of a traditional database, such as text documents, emails, images, audio, and video files. It makes up the majority of data generated by organizations and requires specialized tools, like natural language processing or computer vision, to extract meaningful insights. Data scientists and engineers work with unstructured data using techniques distinct from those used for structured, tabular datasets.
