Research and Design
Business and Management
Research and design (often paired as R&D in a product context) is the process of investigating user needs, market conditions, or technical feasibility and translating those findings into concrete product or system designs. Designers and engineers use it to ground creative and technical decisions in evidence rather than assumption.
