Punch work, often called punch list work in construction, refers to the final tasks needed to complete a project after substantial completion, such as fixing minor defects, touch-ups, and unfinished details. It is used by contractors, project managers, and inspectors to track outstanding items before a project is formally closed out and handed over to the client.
