iPhoto was Apple's consumer photo management and editing application, bundled with Mac computers as part of the iLife suite from 2002 to 2015. It let users import, organize, tag, and edit photos, create slideshows, photo books, and calendars, and was eventually discontinued in favor of the Photos app. Familiarity with it is mostly relevant to older creative or administrative roles involving Mac-based photo organization.
