Hybrid Network Topology
IT Infrastructure and Networking
Hybrid Network Topology is a network design that combines two or more different topologies, such as star, ring, bus, or mesh, into a single interconnected system to leverage the strengths of each. Network engineers use hybrid topologies to build scalable, resilient networks in large organizations, campuses, or data centers where a single topology type wouldn't meet performance or redundancy needs. Designing one requires balancing cost, fault tolerance, and ease of troubleshooting across the combined structure.
