HTML Table

Web Development

An HTML table is a structure created using the table tag along with tr (table row), td (table data), and th (table header) tags to organize data into rows and columns on a web page. Developers use tables to display tabular information such as schedules, pricing, or comparison data in a readable grid format. While once used for page layout, modern best practice reserves HTML tables strictly for genuinely tabular data.
