Software Development and Engineering Practices

Fossil is a distributed version control system created by D. Richard Hipp (also the creator of SQLite) that bundles source code management, an issue tracker, a wiki, and a web interface into a single self-contained tool. Developers use it as a lightweight alternative to Git, particularly for projects that want built-in project management features without additional server infrastructure.
