Driving Lessons

Education and Training

Driving lessons are structured instruction sessions, typically led by a certified driving instructor, that teach new or learner drivers the skills needed to safely operate a motor vehicle, including vehicle control, traffic rules, and defensive driving techniques. They are usually taken in preparation for a driving test and licensing, and can take place in a classroom setting or behind the wheel in a dual-control training vehicle. Many people pursue them as teenagers or young adults, though adults learning to drive later in life also take them.
