Building Services Engineering
Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Environmental)
Building services engineering is a branch of engineering focused on designing, installing, and maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and public health systems within buildings, such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and plumbing. Building services engineers work alongside architects and structural engineers to ensure buildings are safe, energy-efficient, and comfortable for occupants. The discipline is especially prominent in the UK and is sometimes called MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering elsewhere.
