AWS Storage Gateway
Cloud Computing and DevOps
AWS Storage Gateway is a hybrid cloud storage service that connects on-premises applications and hardware to AWS cloud storage, presenting cloud storage as local file shares, volumes, or virtual tape libraries. IT administrators use it to extend on-premises storage capacity, enable backup and disaster recovery to the cloud, or migrate data gradually without rewriting applications. It's commonly used during cloud migration projects that need to bridge legacy infrastructure with AWS.
