Viking Range is a manufacturer of professional-style kitchen ranges, ovens, refrigeration, and outdoor cooking appliances for residential and commercial use, credited with creating the professional-grade home kitchen appliance category. Founded in 1984 and based in Greenwood, Mississippi, it was owned by The Middleby Corporation from 2013 until February 2026, when Middleby sold a 51% stake in its Residential Kitchen Equipment Group (which includes Viking) to an affiliate of private equity firm 26North Partners, retaining a 49% interest in the resulting joint venture.
