Tower Optical is a manufacturer of the iconic silver coin-operated binocular viewers found at tourist attractions such as Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building, and the Grand Canyon. Founded in 1933 and family-owned for nearly a century, the Norwalk, Connecticut company was acquired by a new ownership group in 2025 that is modernizing the devices, including adding tap-to-pay capability, while continuing the original business.
