Tastee-Freez is an American soft-serve ice cream and fast-food chain founded in 1950 in Joliet, Illinois, that expanded to nearly 1,800 U.S. locations by the late 1950s. Owned by The Galardi Group since 2003, it now survives mainly as a co-branded menu item within roughly 350 Wienerschnitzel and Hamburger Stand restaurants, with only a single standalone Tastee-Freez location remaining.
