Required
- Associate degree
- Basic Life Support CPR certification
- One of: RN, Registered Radiologic Technologist, Registered Respiratory Therapist, RCIS, RCES, CVIT, Licensed Paramedic, or Certified Surgical Technologist
- Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy
- Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to monitor patient vital signs using clinical equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice
- Observe patients during procedures and report abnormalities
- Follow radiation safety procedures
- Perform specialized imaging procedures including angio and interventional procedures
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Read, write, and speak conversational English
- Basic computer skills
