What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, dairy science, biological sciences, engineering, or operations management
- PCQI certification
- HACCP certification
- Training or certification in hygienic design, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and Listeria control
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sanitation, food safety, quality systems, or manufacturing operations in food and beverage industry
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-site sanitation programs and teams in food manufacturing
Nice to have
- Training or certification in SQF, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with automated and robotic sanitation systems
- Knowledge of emerging sanitation technologies and digital sanitation management platforms
