What they ask for
Required
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field
- 4+ years in industrial automation, robotic systems, AMR development, or advanced manufacturing equipment
- 3+ years designing and implementing electrical systems for robotics or complex electromechanical platforms
- Custom electrical hardware design and component integration experience
- Power system design knowledge including high-current routing and protection
- Battery-powered system design experience
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial systems
- Cross-functional communication and documentation skills
Nice to have
- Industrial protocol experience (EtherCAT, CANbus, Ethernet/IP)
- Motors, drivers, or AMR development background
- PLC and industrial controls platform familiarity
- Motion control and motor drive setup experience
- Industrial machinery and manufacturing process experience (welding, grinding, milling)
- Electrical-mechanical integration and packaging experience
