- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, technology, or mathematics
- 8+ years designing structural hardware and thermal protection systems
- Proficiency with fluid, thermal, structural, and mechanical design fundamentals
- CAD software experience
- GD&T and mechanical drafting expertise
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
Nice to have
- Propulsion component design experience
- Direct thermal protection system or heatshield design work
- Full product lifecycle experience from development through production
- Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and ANSYS Workbench proficiency
- Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS, NAS, SAE)
