Required

  • Professional assessment writing or editing experience
  • Experience authoring tech-enhanced items in an assessment management system
  • Understanding of well-composed and balanced assessment items
  • Ability to write K-12 assessment items aligned to standards
  • Knowledge of Depth of Knowledge, rigor, differentiation, text complexity, and readability
  • Subject-matter expertise in ELA, math, science, or social studies
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback on assessment design

  • Former teaching experience
